Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association, is one of the most important and symbol organizations of Turkish textile and apparel sector. Istanbul has an important share in textile trade and Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association has vital role in the textile industry.

Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association, founded in 1986, is one of the four export associations under the General Secretariat of Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters Associations.

Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association has about 4.000 registered member companies mostly located around Istanbul. Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association represents textile industry extensively since the member companies of the Association realize more than half of Turkey’s total textile exports which is more than 10 billion $ annually.

Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association’s main goal is to enhance the export capability of Turkey in textile goods and promote Turkish textile sector around the world. Besides, Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association also supports its members in all kinds of trade related activities.

Moreover, Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association, aims to promote common interests of the sector in both national and international platforms as well as in governmental levels.

Istanbul Textile and Raw Materials Exporters Association, performs following activities in order to achieve the goals mentioned above:

    • • Established research-development center, which is believed to play an important role in promoting innovative products

    • • Encourage and support design capacity of the sector
